Art and Design

General Studies

Interested in pairing an art degree with another major? The General Studies in Art+Design complementary major at Anderson University is a great way to make this happen. General Studies majors take six Foundations courses, which provide a solid understanding of the principles of art and design. These classes also prepare you for any high-level art and design courses you choose to take. After passing the Foundations Review, you may choose from a variety of courses offered in fine arts, glass, or visual communication design.

The general studies major has allowed me the freedom to explore art and psychology simultaneously. I'm grateful for the faculty who have provided me with opportunities to cultivate my interest in art therapy.
