Steve Risinger, M.A., ATC, LAT, (sdrisinger@anderson.edu)
Steve is Director of Sports Medicine, Head Athletic Trainer, and Professor of Kinesiology, is a graduate of Anderson University and received his Master of Arts degree from Ball State University. He worked as a student athletic trainer for the Kansas City Chiefs and has worked with the Chicago Bears from 1984-1991. He is the former president of the Indiana Athletic Trainers Association, and was selected the IATA college and university athletic trainer of the year in 1988. In addition, he was inducted to the Indiana Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame in 1996. He was a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association Certification Committee (1980-1987), member of the NATA Board of Certification and local co-chairman of the NATA National Convention in Indianapolis for 1990 and 1995. He was chairman of the GLATA District Meeting Committee in 1982, 1988, 1990, and 1997. He is a member of the Indiana State Medical Association Commission on Sports Medicine and is the president of the Indiana Athletic Trainer State Licensure Board. In 1999 he was presented the Distinguished Hoosier Award for his service to the state of Indiana in athletic training. Prof. Risinger has taught at Anderson University since 1976.

Mandy is an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Clinical Instructor within the Department of Kinesiology. Bush earned her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Anderson University and her master's degree from the University of Kansas. Mrs. Bush joined the AU staff in 2006.

Dr. Jared Jones, M.D., Team Physician and Medical Doctor
Dr. Jones serves as the team physician for all Anderson University intercollegiate sports and is an instructor within the Athletic Training Curriculum. Jones earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Manchester College in 1981 before going to Indiana University School of Medicine, where he graduated in 1989. He did his residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in Internal Medicine, graduating in 1992 and then pursuing a Sports Medicine Fellowship, Primary Care Sports Medicine at Ball Memorial Hospital. Jones is currently practicing at Central Indiana Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Anderson. His experience includes medical coverage for US National Track and Field Championships, PKC Indiana State Kickboxing Championships, NCAA Div. I Swimming and Diving Championships and other professional, semi-pro and college-level sporting events.

Anderson University's athletic training program works with medical consultants in the specialties of Dentistry, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Optometry, and Neurology, along with a variety of affiliated and allied health care facilities.
