Study of the theoretical side of media processes and effects is complemented by a strong practical component that includes students’ coursework being published in the professional press.

Practical experiences include

• Internships with newspapers and magazines
• Coursework submitted for publication
• Staff positions on the student newspaper, The Andersonian. (Editors are on payroll)
