AU School of Music Offers New Dance Minor
The School of Music at Anderson University is now offering a minor in dance. The university’s new state-of-the-art dance studio, equipped with a L’Air sprung floor, barres, mirrors, and theatrical sound and lighting equipment, is the ideal facility to learn and practice the art of dance.
Courses include: four levels ballet, modern dance, jazz, three levels of tap, two levels of choreography, and dance history.
The dance program is led by two of the state’s finest professionals— Roberta Wong and Doug King. Roberta has been a principal dancer, company teacher, and rehearsal director for Dance Kaleidoscope.
Doug is an active professional dancer and choreographer, having toured nationally for more than two years with Donnie Osmond in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
