Saint John's Center for Clinical Excellence

The Anderson University School of Nursing is proud to be home to the Saint John's Center for Clinical Excellence, made possible by a gift from Saint John's Health System and St.Vincent Health. Saint John's Health System is a medical health-care ministry of St.Vincent Health, central Indiana's largest health-care system with 18 locations. Saint John's is a major, comprehensive, fully diversified health-care organization, providing a full range of quality health-care services to the greater Madison County, Indiana, area and is particularly well known for cancer care, behavioral health, rehabilitation services, and surgical/medical services. Saint John's Health System and St.Vincent Health are excellent partners with Anderson University because of their shared religious values and commitment to excellence.

Because Saint John's and St.Vincent Health believe not only in excellence in patient care but also in quality nursing education, they have partnered with Anderson University to create the Saint John's Center for Clinical Excellence. The center features the latest technology in patient simulation: the SimMan® 3G. This technology is the next generation of simulators from Laerdal Simulation, providing advanced training to Anderson University students and nurses in the community. In addition to SimMan® 3G, students also benefit from advanced training experiences provided by Saint John's and their partner, PHI Air Medical Group.
