SOAR Information

Will housing be provided?
Arrangements can be made for you (students) to stay in a residence hall during April SOAR events.

What should I bring?
Bring your driver's license, Social Security card, or birth certificate if you plan to apply for on-campus employment, a pen, pencil and a dictionary.

What placement exams do I need to take?
Making sure you get in the appropriate classes this fall is one of our top priorities during SOAR. Depending on your academic records and (potential) transfer credits, you may be required to take up to three placement exams during SOAR: math, foreign language, and English. After SOAR you have the opportunity to take the speech communication exam.
