Choosing the right college is such an overwhelming decision that it is difficult to see past the next four years. After you have turned the tassel, will you trudge from job interview to job interview, or will you pick the best from several offers? Will you be accepted into that prestigious graduate program of your dreams, or will you have to settle for a school from your "B" list?
Any college admissions office will tell you that its academic programs will prepare you for your career. We thought we’d try something a little different: we are going to let our graduates tell you. We have compiled short lists of some of the companies that have hired our grads and the graduate schools where they have gone on to study. The lists include some impressive companies and graduate schools -- maybe even a couple of places where you would like to end up.
Since you are at the starting line, we thought you might like to hear from some of those who have already crossed the finish line. Some of our alumni talk about the personal touch of small class sizes, some the outstanding faculty, others our state-of-the-art facilities, but they all agree that AU gave them the tools they need to succeed.
But we don’t just talk about the bottom line; we believe in the importance of a full-featured college experience. That’s why we offer social activities, sports, opportunities for spiritual development, services and support to help our students make the most of their college experience -- but those are for another brochure.
