Tour Anderson University

Adam Farmer

I really enjoy getting to know people and learning a little bit about their story and how they've gotten to where they are. Admissions allows me such a fantastic opportunity to do just that while also communicating the unique aspects of what makes Anderson University so special. It's in the process of learning people's stories that I feel best able to match up what they are looking for in a college experience with what AU has to offer. I look forward to each day as a part of this community, knowing what it has done for me and what it can do for the students and families I come into contact with.

Educational Background
I graduated from Anderson University in May of 2003 with a B.A. in Psychology. During my time at AU, I was a part of the baseball program, a member of a social club, a part of the AU Ambassador program that worked with visit days, and too many other things to mention.

Personal Bio
I grew up in Churubusco, IN. Growing up attending a Church of God and having a friend at AU already helped me decide that Anderson was where I'd be headed for college. AU ended up being the perfect place for me to be for the next 4 years of my life. Although my time here as a student wasn't always smooth sailing, I am the man that I am today because of what happened to me during those years. Now, as an Admissions Counselor, I feel like I'm giving back to this place that has given me so much.

The College Search
Ask anything and everything that comes to mind. There are no "stupid" questions. And, it's so important to be on campus. Visit the schools you're interested in attending. That's the only way to get the true "feel" of any institution.
