I'm so glad that you're looking at AU! Searching for the right college is such an adventure. You'll have plenty to explore as you begin to learn about AU's community and network. From the Kissinger Learning Center to the AU East Africa initiative to rugby games on Saturday afternoons, there are a plethora of activities with which to get involved. I graduated from AU in 2006 with a double major in Mass Communication (Public Relations) & Christian Ministries and a German minor. While at AU, I was a Resident Assistant, on the University Leadership Council, Society of Collegiate Journalists, Intramurals, Echoes (yearbook), Tri-S trips to Peru and Philadelphia, travels to Austria, Germany, Paris, and Campus ministries.
Personal Bio
I'm originally from Bowling Green, Ohio, but now I live in Anderson. I'm a sap for small coffee shops and good books. For me, experience and knowledge are analogous, which is one of the reasons why I love art and traveling. I try to live my life with big dreams and little steps.

Traveling with Tri-S; Intramurals in the Wellness Center; INvision AU opportunities; Mocha Joe's coffee shop; and Chapel.
The College Search
Make sure to look at your options, from big to small. Find out what kind of experience you want and narrow it down to three or four colleges. Then visit! And visit again! Don't be afraid to ask questions. We know that you're new at this, we don't expect you to have all the answers. If you did, then our jobs would be obsolete. We're here to help! Also, take the ACT/SAT as many times as you can. You never know what even just a point will do for you. And lastly, enjoy the process. It's unlike anything else. And while it can be scary and ominous at times, ultimately it is worth it.
