What will occur during academic advising?
Natalie will explain to you in detail the options for additional credit. The various credit options are:
- CLEP Testing
- Bridge Courses
- Adult Education Classes
- ACE Credits
When will I be advised?
Before starting classes your admissions counselor should have gone over your Assessment Overview with you. Once you have started your cohort, Natalie will contact you between the second and third module for an advising appointment. She will then contact you before each semester to see if you would like to enroll in additional classes.
Why is advising and degree completion planning necessary?
Talking with your advisor is necessary to assist you in understanding and completing all degree requirements (core courses and electives as applicable) in a timely manner. Natalie will help and guide you towards graduation.
How do I know if I need additional credits?
After your first appointment with Natalie, you will have better understanding what credits are needed to complete the degree and how to obtain those. She will assist you in planning out how you are going to complete those credits. It is important to keep in contact with Natalie on your progress.
