Bryan S. Chapman - is a 2003 graduate who received a BA in political science. While at Anderson, Bryan was involved in a number of activities on campus, including serving as a Resident Assistant and Student Body President. Bryan then went on to earn his law degree from the University of Missouri. He is now a corporate litigation attorney in Chicago, at the law firm of SDMA. Bryan attends Wheaton Bible Church, where he teaches 4th grade Sunday School and serves on the Community Group development team.
Dienzel C. Dennis BS ’61 has been working in education since his graduation from Anderson University. He began his career in Stanford, Kent., where he spent 5 years as athletic director and basketball and football coach. He then spent 15 years at Morehead State University in Kentucky as athletic director and coach. In 1981, he moved with his family to Florida, answering a call at Warner Christian Academy where he served 8 years. The last 11 years of his career were spent in the public school systems of Daytona, Beach. Dienzel retired in 2000 after 39 years in the education.
Stefan Dobrikov BA ’03 studied business management and international business. He is a purchasing agent for S&S Steel Services. Stefan lives in Anderson, IN.
Connie L. Cove Graham graduated from Anderson College in 1975, along with her husband, Dale Myers. Dale passed away in 1998, & in 2002 Connie married Jerry Graham, who is the Pastor of Youth at Eagle Ridge Church of God in Midland, Mich. She taught elementary school for 27 years and is currently the Director of Youth Ministries for the Church of God in Michigan. Connie also received her Master’s Degree from Michigan State University. Her 2 children & their spouses are also alumni of AU- Sarah (Myers) Rowe and her husband, Jason graduated in 2001; son Jonathon Myers graduated in 2006 and his wife Katie (Pickett) in 2005. She is the proud grandmother of 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter. We’re all planning on 2 more AU alumni in a few years! Connie is also very active in her church and various community organizations.
Lisa Bennett Harden BA’82 earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She has worked at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Services for 16 years and is the medical social service coordinator for outreach and special programs. Lisa lives in Indianapolis with her husband and two sons, the oldest of which is a current student at Anderson University.
Marv Hills BA ’81: Marv is a 1981 graduate of Anderson University and a resident of Mishawaka, Indiana. He is Executive-In-Charge of the Private Client Services Group in the Tax Services department at Crowe Horwath, where he has worked since 1981. He has two sons and one daughter; among the three of them are an AU graduate, a current AU student, and an incoming AU student!
Judy Hughes is a 1978 alumnus with a BA in Broadcasting and has pursued graduate classes at Anderson University School of Theology. She has served the church locally and state wide as a Pastor and Speaker; nationally, at Church of God Ministries, and internationally as a Missionary to Australia. She believes in AU and served for 5 years on the Board of Directors. Judy and her husband Malcolm of 30 years have two children. Amy and her husband Jamie live near in Centerville, OH and have one 3 year old daughter, Maya Katherine. (Judy loves being a grandma!) Their son Michael is a junior at Warner Southern College in Florida.
Philip L. Kinley BA ’52, MDiv ’55 began his mission work in Japan immediately after his graduation from the School of Theology. He and his wife, Phyllis (Gillespie) Kinley BA ’52, served as pastors and educators for 43 years. For 25 years, he was the principal of Tamagawa Seigakuin, a girls’ secondary school in Tokyo affiliated with the Church of God. In 1999, both Philip and Phyllis were awarded honorary doctorates from Anderson University. They are retired and living in Anderson, Ind.
Daniel Kihm graduated from AU in 2003 with degrees in Christian Ministries and Bible & Religion. He also received his MDiv from the School of Theology in 2007. Daniel is the Senior Pastor at Maple Grove Church of God in Anderson, a position he has held since 2005. While a student, Daniel was involved in Student Government, Tri-S, Novus Dux social club, and even served as "The Raven"! He and his wife, Christy, reside in Anderson where they like to work on restoring their historic home.
Jeffrey K. Lockhart BA ’84 has worked in the banking industry for 22 years. He has served in leadership roles for Enterprise Housing Inc., Indiana Benefit Life Insurance Company, and The Friends of the NRA. Jeff has now served the Alumni Association for four years. He and his wife, Nancy (Beard) Lockhart BA ’85, live in Indianapolis and have three children. The family attends the Church at the Crossing, Indianapolis.
Joy Lyn Blevins Loyd BA ('76) loves Anderson University! She grew up on the campus in the Blevins House where Covenant Productions and WQME now call home. She is the granddaughter of John A Morrison, the first President of AU, great niece of Earl Martin former Vice President. Her mother, Dorothy Blevins Thomas served on the Board of Trustees. While a student, Joy met her husband Randy Loyd ('74). Together they own RELCO Products Inc. in Anderson. Their kids Troy ('00- 04) and Jessica (Rogers-'06), Lacy, Brody and granddaughter Sayla Joy Stock are the delight of their lives. Joy is always up for a round of golf or tennis match with friends and family. She considers it a great privilege to serve the community through boards and committees especially the AU Alumni Council.
Jill S. Holbert McKinney is a 1999 graduate who focused on public relations and German while studying mass communications at Anderson University. Jill works as the Associate Director of Study Abroad and International Programs at Butler University and has taught public relations courses at AU. She completed her MA in Cultural Anthropology from BSU; and she has begun her Ed.D. in Student Affairs. She is married to AU faculty member Brad McKinney. They reside in Pendleton, Indiana, with their two children.
Darrell A. H. Miller BA 94 holds a master’s degree from Wadham College, Oxford University, and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. He is an assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Prior to joining the academy, he worked for five years as a litigation associate at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP in Columbus. Darrell lives in Ohio with his wife and two daughters.
Neal G. Moore BA 75 holds a master’s degree in media arts and science from Indiana University School of Informatics. He is the director of community relations at the IU School of Informatics at IUPUI.
Paul Mumaw BA 97 majored in history and in 2003 earned a masters in ministry from Bethel College. Paul worked at AU as an admissions counselor for three years. In 2000 he and his wife, Jenny Recker Mumaw BSN 98, moved to St. Joseph, Mich., where Paul served as an associate pastor at the First Church of God. Paul is currently Lead Pastor at Genesis Church in Noblesville, Ind. Paul and Jenny have three children: Joel, Luke and Kate.
Joy L. May Sherman - BA ’97 and MTS ’03 is the Community Connection Pastor at Maiden Lane Church of God in Springfield, Ohio, where she ministers to new members and new believers in the body of Christ. Joy serves with her husband, Steve, who works with youth and technical ministries. Steve and Joy are the proud parents of Elijah Hunter, born in 2005. Joy received her bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a journalism emphasis. She completed her Master of Theological Studies at the SOT while working on staff in the publications office. She was ordained in the Church of God in September 2005, and she serves as an editorial consultant with the Wesleyan/Holiness Women Clergy organization. On occasion she does freelance work for Women of the Church of God or other church-related organizations.
Suzanna R. Rojas Thompson BA '98 majored in English and minored in French and Spanish. During her time as a student, she served three years as a resident assistant, and was a member of Eniteo, Mu Kappa (missionary kid society), and Sigma Tau Delta (English honor society). After graduation, Suzanna worked first as staff writer for the AU Publications Office (which publishes Signatures), and then as resident director at Huntington College. Currently, she works at Wiley Publishing, as production editor for Frommer's and Dummies travel guides, and moonlights as freelance copy editor and translator. She and her husband Ted attend Madison Park Church of God in Anderson and reside in Fishers, Indiana. Suzanna is the daughter of Nehiel Rojas MDiv '79 and his wife Joanna, formerly Church of God missionaries to Peru and Uruguay.
O. Dale Williams BA ’58, M.Div ’62: Dale is a 1958 graduate of Anderson University and a 1962 graduate of the Anderson School of Theology. Over the years he has pastored Church of God congregations in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana; most recently, he served on staff at First United Methodist Church in Auburn, Indiana. Dale has two sons who are both AU alumni.
Kimberly S. Stanley Williams completed her BA in 1987 with a major in political science and later returned to earn an MBA from the Falls School of Business in 1995. She is a principle and partner for Association Management Plus+, LLC., as well as executive director and governmental affairs representative for the Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology Inc., executive director for the Kentucky Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and a member of the executive staff for the Indiana Association of Pathologists. She lives in Fishers with her husband, Terry.
