Tim Kennedy lives and paints in Bloomington. The backdrop for many of his paintings is his Arts and Crafts era bungalow home on Lincoln Street. He works within the genres of still life, landscape and paints figure in both interior and landscape settings. The work features a painterly sensibility and emphasizes a natural relationship with the observed world. He studied painting with Lennart Anderson at Brooklyn College and currently shows with First Street Gallery in New York. Mr. Kennedy teaches Painting and Drawing at Indiana University in Bloomington.
