7:30 p.m. in Reardon Auditorium Lobby

The AU Jazz Ensemble began in 1969 and has hosted many noted jazz artists and clinicians. Under the direction of John Huntoon, the ensemble performs the music of contemporary and legendary artists such as the bebop music of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie, the swinging styles of Count Basie and Duke Ellington, the thundering sounds of Woody Herman and Stan Kenton, or the more contemporary approaches of Toshiko Akioshi and Bob Mintzer.

Admission is free and open to the public.
