Larry Hocker – 2009 Athlete

He became the third wrestler to make the AU Athletic Hall of Fame and was named the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete in 1966. He was All-Conference in wrestling and was named Indiana Little State Champion and Most Valuable Wrestler; he was also a team captain.

Hocker currently serves as a Sunday School teacher, youth director, head usher, and chairperson for his church. He and his wife Sharon have two sons, Keith and Greg, and live in Sevierville, Tenn.
