Larry Holloway - 2008 Athlete

Larry Holloway, who passed away on July 8, 2007, was the head coach of the softball team for 24 seasons and a member of the Raven coaching staff since the sport’s birth in 1978. Over his career, Holloway had an overall record of 431-503. His teams won five conference regular season titles and five post-season championships. He has been named conference Coach of the Year eight times.

Holloway, who graduated from Markleville High School in 1954, was also the founder of the Pendleton Youth Football League and a founder of the Pendleton Youth Softball League. He also coached traveling softball teams in Pendleton for more than 20 years.
