Welcome to Anderson University baseball, where the Ravens have qualified for postseason tournaments an unprecedented 31 of the last 33 years and where 99 percent of the four-year players have graduated.
Our program is made of individuals just like yourself. Nothing we have accomplished in the past gives you any promises of success, but it clearly shows you the direction we are going. It shows a history where individuals have established a tradition. Here are some facts:
- Eight World Series appearances
- 19 years in the final Top 20 Coaches Poll
- 16 conference championships
- 32 players signed professional contracts
- NAIA Indiana champions 12 times, 8 of last 9 years in NAIA
- 6 NCAA Div. III Regional appearances since 1993
- 3 NCAA Div. III World Series appearances
The 2003 Raven team finished third in the nation at the NCAA Div. III World Series in Appleton, Wisc., falling to eventual national champion Chapman in the semifinals.
AU advanced to its third NCAA World Series by winning the Mideast Regional title and the HCAC post-season tournament this season after finishing second in the conference regular season.
If you are someone that desires to grow spiritually, earn an outstanding degree, pursue excellence and quality baseball, then we would like for you to consider being a part of the AU tradition. At AU you can expect to play at one of the top baseball programs in the Midwest.
If you would like to talk to us, ask questions, or explore us as an option, we would be honored. Please call us at the baseball office (765-641-4488 or 1-800-94-RAVEN) or email me personally at dpbrandon@anderson.edu.
Have a great baseball year!
Coach Don Brandon
