Wilson begins his third season as head coach of the AU men's and women's track and field program.

During his first two seasons, the Ravens have won the HCAC Championship in both men's and women's track and he has chalked up four Coach of the Year awards.

Wilson also has a perfect mark in cross country, where he has four championships and three Coach of the Year awards in two campaigns in men's and women's cross country.

Wilson was an assistant under AU Athletic Hall of Fame coach Larry Maddox for seven years before taking over the top spot the fall of 2006.

He is Level I and II certified and is USATF.

Wilson, originally from Elm Grove, Wisconsin, comes to Anderson from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he served as an assistant cross country/track and field coach in 1998-99. The Huskers' women cross country team finished 17th in the nation in 1998.

Prior to his one-year tenure at Nebraska-Lincoln, Wilson served as the head women's track and field coach at Azusa Pacific University from 1996-98. He was also the head women's cross country coach from 1994-97, and head men's coach in 1996 and 1997 and an assistant in 1993.

During Wilson's tenure at Azusa, the women's cross country team posted four top-20 finishes at the NAIA Championships, including a fifth-place finish in 1996. Under Wilson's leadership the Azusa women's track and field team posted five top-five finishes at the NAIA Championships, including a second-place finish at the outdoor championships in 1996.

Wilson's coaching background also includes two years as a high school track coach at Martin Luther High School in Greendale, Wisconsin.

Wilson is a 1986 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he was WISAA state champion in the 1600 meters his senior year. He went on to attend Wheaton College where he was an All-American in the 5,000 meters in 1988. He attained a Master's Degree from Azusa Pacific in 1995 in physical education.

Wilson and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Anderson.
