Tracy Downey - Assistant Coach
Downey will be in his first season with the AU cross country and track programs.
Before coming to AU, Downey coached both track and cross country at Westview High School.
He was a four-year letterwinner in track after competing in the javelin, triple jump and high jump. He was the NCCAA national champion in the javelin and conference champion in the high jump and triple jump. He also competed in the NAIA national meet in the high jump, finishing eighth.
Downey earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Anderson University in 1991.
Downey is single and resides in Anderson.
