GREETINGS FROM ANDERSON WOMEN'S SOCCER

I am blessed to have the distinct opportunity to influence the lives of our women soccer players and see them grow, develop, and graduate during their time at Anderson. The women’s soccer program at Anderson University strives to develop 3-D student-athletes, where soccer is a means through which we enhance our intellect, character, and Christian Faith. As a team we are characterized by our collective Desire, Discipline, and Determination to pursue excellence, serve each other, and glorify God in all areas of our lives.

The women’s soccer players are students first and foremost. As a team, we are a family of servant leaders, who are competitive, yet gracious and humble. We uphold the highest standards of integrity and work diligently, giving our best effort each day. Our work in the classroom has paid off, as we have received the NSCAA team academic award 11 times, with an average team GPA of a 3.3 this past fall.

You will find numerous majors on the team. From nursing to athletic training to education, we want you to pursue your passion and study what you are interested in. We even expand the educational experience, by taking trips abroad and going on service and mission trips all over the word. The team has been to Germany, Holland, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, England, Ireland, Scotland and Italy over the years.

On the field we give our best and push one another, as this is an act of worship. God has given us these talents and we are called to give our all to glorify Him. Our goal is to contend for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship and advance to NCAA Division III tournament play. With attention to detail, uncompromising work ethic, and a never giving in pursuit we will be successful, as success in is the Journey.

If you are looking for a place to be stretched on and off the field and have the Desire, Discipline, and Determination to be part of Anderson Women Soccer please contact Coach Myhre (765-641-4417) or jcmyhre@anderson.edu.
