Tracy Downey - Assistant Coach
Downey will be in his seventh season on the AU track and field coaching staff in 2011-12. He is a USATF certified Level I and II in jumps and throws.
During his tenure at AU, Downey has coached the HCAC champion in the women's high jump (twice), women's triple jump, women's and men's javelin, men's long jump, a national qualifier in the discus and a All-American in the high jump.
He is a 1991 graduate of Anderson University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Biology. He earned four letters in track and was a conference champion in the high jump and triple jump in 1991. He was an NCCAA champion in the javelin (1988-89) and a national qualifier in the high jump.
Downey and his wife Teri reside in Anderson and he has two children: Emilee and Brock.
