What are the retail dining locations on campus?Retail dining locations are all food service locations except for the Marketplace. These include Chick-fil-A Express and Olive's Bistro in the Raven's Haven, Create in the basement of Decker, and Raven Xpress in Hartung Hall.
What are meal exchanges? Are you looking for a quick and easy dining alternative to the Marketplace but you still want to use one of your block meals? Then “Meal Exchange” is just for you! The "Meal Exchange" dining option has been designed so that you can use one of your block meals at any of our main campus retail destinations. A "Meal Exchange" is a set combo meal that includes a beverage. Meal combos will vary by location. Just visit Create, Raven Xpress, Olive's Bistro or Chick-fil-A and ask for the "Meal Exchange." It's that simple!
What are Raven Dollars?Raven Dollars are the declining balance part of your meal plan, and are used like a debit account. They can be used at any dining location on campus. Raven Dollars give you the flexibility to order anything you would like off of the menu, including our newer healthier options, and name brands like Chick-fil-A. With all these new offerings, there are many opportunities for you to use your Raven Dollars throughout the school year. The Raven Dollars roll over from Fall semester to Spring semester, but need to be used before the end of second semester, so it’s important for you to budget your dollars wisely.* If you do need to order additional funds – it’s easy to do so through our DineonCampus website or at our meal plan office in the Student Center.
*Raven Dollars carry over from semester I to semester II as an exception during the 13/14 school year only. Beginning with the 14/15 school year, Raven Dollars not spent at the end of each semester will be absorbed.
Can additional Raven Dollars be purchased?Yes. They can be purchased in increments starting at $20 from a retail register or from the dineoncampus website. Raven Dollars can be charged to student account in increments from $50-$500 by visiting the dining services office.
What are the changes to Raven Dollars Meal Plans for 2013-14?In order to accommodate and fund some of the exciting new changes in dining services, like bringing in Chick-fil-A, renovating the Marketplace and Café Olé, increasing hours of service in the Marketplace, and decreasing meals and increasing Raven Dollars within the various meal plans, we needed to restrict the use of Raven Dollars to stay within the food service area. Therefore, Raven Dollars will now only be accepted at dining locations, and no longer can be used in the bookstore or at Mocha Joe’s. You can still charge your books to your student account, and cash, checks and debit/credit cards are still accepted at both locations.
How are the meal plans different from 2012-13?The main changes include a reduction of meals and an increase in Raven Dollars. The names have also changed.

- Meal Plan B = Raven Silver
- Meal Plan C = Raven Bronze
- Meal Plan D = Raven Orange
Do Raven Dollars carry over from one semester to the next? The practice of Raven Dollars carrying over from one semester to the next will be phased out this year. If you had a meal plan in the spring and one this fall then your Raven Dollars have carried over. This will be true from this fall to next spring as well. Beginning with Spring 2014 Raven Dollars must be used the semester they are purchased.
Why are Raven Dollars not allowed to be used in Mocha Joe's or the bookstore? In order to accommodate and fund some of the exciting new changes in dining services, like bringing in Chick-fil-A Express, renovating the Marketplace and Café Olé, and increasing hours of service in the Marketplace, the university needed to restrict the use of Raven Dollars to stay within the food service area.

Block meals can be enjoyed at the Marketplace as part of the all-you-care-to-eat format. What is Raven Cash?
In the first printing of the dining services brochure the term Raven Cash is used to refer to dollars added to a students account in addition to a meal plan. It has been decided the term "Raven Dollars" will continue to function as the term to describe money added to a students meal plan account. You may see Raven Cash in a few places this semester and we are sorry for any confusion this may cause.
Last year a group of my friends pooled together a bunch of our meals and traded them in for a catered event. Can we still do that?
