Spiritual Life

The office of Spiritual Life offers a variety of services and opportunities to AU students for spiritual exploration and growth. Morrison House, on the corner of University Boulevard and College Drive, houses:

Stuart works with a student staff to offer avenues for spiritual growth, service to others and Christian discipleship.

Todd coordinates the chapel program, where he speaks regularly, as well as provides pastoral counseling for the AU community.


Opportunities:

Spiritual Emphasis Week & Impact Your World Week
Spiritual Emphasis Week is conducted midway through Semester I and focuses on our relationship to Christ and on growing in that relationship. Impact Your World Week is conducted early in Semester II and focuses on Christ’s call to us to serve in the world. Key leaders from around the world are invited to campus to lead these special weeks.

Miller Chapel
Students are encouraged to find opportunities to use Miller Chapel in the School of Theology for prayer, meditation and reflection. Miller Chapel is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.-10 p.m.

All-Campus Prayer Room
The Prayer Room in the Morrison House basement is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to midnight.

Local Churches
A diverse spectrum of local churches provide opportunities for involvement.
