The Career Development Center is pleased to offer Raven CareerLink, a self-guided, interactive program designed to provide students and alumni with resources to make informed decisions about their career goals.

Building Professional Relationships

Avoid realizing, just months before you graduate, that you should have developed relationships with alumni and employer contacts within your chosen field during your studies at AU.

It is important to establish career contacts while you are a student at AU. Did you know that AU offers numerous professional networking opportunities where you can connect with individuals in your chosen field? And, are you aware you should know how to network as early as your sophomore year?

To help you develop the skills necessary to build professional relationships and to learn about AU networking events, the Career Development Center is offering a How to Network workshop.  In addition, the Career Center’s very own Amanda Bray shares a series of articles about her own experience with networking. Click here to view Amanda’s article and to chat with Amanda about her experience.

To register for a How to Network Workshop, register on Raven CareerLink.  The registration is located on the “Events” page, under the “Workshops” tab.
