July 2012 CAREER CAMP

Discover – Explore – Plan

The 2012 CAREER CAMP provides the opportunity for high school students to discover their values, personalities, abilities and interests through the use of on-line assessments. Students will have the opportunity to explore areas of study (college majors) and occupations that meet their assessed interests, abilities, personalities and values. In addition, students will be exposed to the various job markets along with their projected growth in the coming years. Finally, students will develop a short- and long-term plan of action toward meeting their career goals.

Parent Session - New this summer is a half-day parent session to be held on July 17th, from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in which we will walk parents through the career planning process as well as provide them with tools to help their children make informed choices about future educational and career goals.
