Certification in Christian Ministry

Ministerial Track

This track is designed specifically for those already in pastoral ministry or those preparing for a pastoral role. This certification track covers theology, Bible, faith development and pastoral counseling in the core program (32 CEUs).

Christian Studies Track

This track is designed specifically for those NOT intending to enter pastoral ministry, but who desire a fuller biblical and theological background. Persons previously enrolled in this track have been teachers, board members and other laity in a congregation. This track covers theology, Bible and church history in its core program (30 CEUs).

NOTE:Each certification requires the completion of 50 total Continuing Education Credits (50 CEUs). Select the appropriate number of courses from the list of electives, attending conferences or seminars, or submitting reports of reading completed in addition to the core track of requirements. Also, note that the appropriate Center forms must be sent in for reporting both conference attendance and reading.
