Community Partnership Center

Character, Service, and Leadership are the three pillars of the Community Partnership Center (CPC). The CPC offers training and support in all three of these areas. Whether you need programming, curriculum, or strategic planning in these areas for yourself, business, or agency, the CPC has resources to assist you.

A partner in many educational initiatives and institutions, the CPC has supplied many educators and community partners with character development resources and professional development opportunities.

The CPC houses Character Counts! Of Madison County which is successfully engaged and promoted in all five county school districts. The CPC also partners with Student Leadership Development programming and the Leadership Academy’s of Madison County to introduce faculty, staff, and students to quality leadership development programming.

Volunteerism, service learning, and service engagement based internships complete the spectrum of personal and professional opportunities for growth and discovery at the CPC. The CPC stand ready to assist faculty, staff, students, and community partners as they develop mutually beneficial relationships through service and personal investment. This support is demonstrated by helping make connections, supplying examples of the necessary elements of best practice in service learning, and funding opportunities. The staff at the CPC is committed to reciprocal relationships between campus and community and strives to that end.
