Gospel Choir
It’s Not About the Music, It’s About the Ministry

Gospel Choir Scripture
Isaiah 61:1-2 "The spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and to release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God…"Gospel Choir Mission
Our mission is to do exactly what this scripture says, to go unto the world and preach the good news to everyone with the ministry of music. We as a choir sing to touch hearts, change lives, bind up the broken hearted and give garments of praise instead of despair. It is our belief that a lot of people can come together and sing and have music, but if they’re not touching hearts, changing lives or even giving joy to someone that might need it, then they have no purpose and their singing is in vain. The President's Vision for Gospel Choir
"My vision is that Gospel Choir will be more than just a group of people that come together on occasions to sing, but that we would be a ministry. Meaning that we go out with the purpose of bringing people closer to God, no matter what that might look like. And so I pray and hope that for the rest of this semester Gospel Choir will not be about how good we sound or how good we look on stage. On the other hand, everything we do will be all about God and giving him the glory while having a good time as we do it."Gospel Choir leaders
