We see, as an important part of our mission, touching the lives of university students, as Christ commands to do so. Therefore, we accept students who are strong, committed Christians, students who are still searching, students who do not yet know that there is something to seek, and students who have rejected the search.

How does Anderson University live out its faith, and blend that faith with academic learning?
We take commitment to our faith seriously. We take our commitment to academic excellence seriously. We strive to do this in the classroom; in the way we live our lives, and in the programs we offer to students.

Anderson University has a covenant relationship with the church.
We take commitment to our faith seriously. It is a relationship that we treasure. Our dynamic relationship with the church grounds us in our faith and inspires us to achieve great things.

Anderson University was founded 88 years ago by leaders of the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) movement who felt the call to educate and to equip young men and women for a life of faith and service in their church, and community.

We were founded in the free and open traditions of the Church of God. Our faith calls us to search the world of God to better understand His will in our lives. It commands us to reach others with His message of redemption.

Like a beautiful gem, Anderson University has many facets.
