What is the Annual Fund?
Higher education is costly, and for schools such as Anderson University that don't receive state assistance, alleviating some of that burden on students and their families is an ongoing endeavor. Your gifts to the Annual Fund help do just that.
Our goal is to ensure that finances never deter students from selecting AU. Contributions to the Annual Fund provide students financial assistance - many times in the form of scholarships - that enables our students to pursue their life dreams at Anderson University.
Without a doubt, your gift can make the difference.

Why are gifts to the Annual Fund / Unrestricted Student Aid so important?
The actual cost of educating one student at Anderson University is significant. A major portion of the cost is defrayed by contributions to the university. A full-time student registered for 12-17 hours will pay $788 per credit hour this year. Your gift helps underwrite this cost to make it more affordable for our students.
Students' basic expenses for the 2007-2008 academic year:
| Tuition | $20,970 |
| Room | $4,140 |
| Food Service | $2,630 |
| Total | $27,740 |
Contributions to the Annual Fund ensure that Anderson University will keep pace with student needs by providing funds for student financial aid, including academic scholarships.

Who benefits from the Annual Fund?
Words from a new graduate
The Church of God missionary who introduced me to AU described it as a "welcoming place." He was right. When I came here from Nairobi, Kenya, four years ago, I knew I'd get an excellent education. What I didn't anticipate was the eye-opening experience I'd have in student government.
As president of AUS, I've had the opportunity to discuss campus issues with President Edwards and his staff, I've seen how the university operates behind the scenes, and I've come to appreciate the hard work that everybody does on behalf of the students. There are six children in our family and my scholarship made it possible for me to attend AU. I'll always remember it as one of the best experiences of my life.
