University Relations

University Relations includes a wide scope of departments and services that serve the needs of both our internal personnel and external friends. Included in this area are:

The area of University Relations works under the umbrella of university advancement, which offers services to alumni and friends, the church, donors, and other constituents. Generally, staff members of these departments are responsible for enhancing the exchange and communication with our diverse constituent groups. They do this by designing, implementing and managing or responding to information related to the immensely varied issues and news of Anderson University.

The University Relations staff manages or offers some of the following:

  • Advise university personnel in the use of effective ways of communicating with our students, their families, the church and other groups
  • Connect us with our alumni and friends around the world through use of electronic communications, printed materials, Alumni and Friends gatherings and verbal communications
  • Design and update university television, electronic and print media such as the Anderson University Web site, electronic and traditional communications with news media, etc.
  • Write and produce a wide array of university publications, including but not limited to Signatures magazine, Admissions Office brochures and advertisements, Alumni Office publications, and the Anderson University Web site, etc.
University Relations staff expertise includes but is not limited to business management, communications, and graphic design. Staff in these departments have a heart for the university and great skill in sharing and understanding information.
