Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)

Students in Free Enterprise (100+ at AU) prove every day that college students can and do "change the world." The student-run organization, with the support of four faculty mentors called "Sam Walton Fellows," demonstrates how free enterprise principles can make a positive impact in our world. For example, the Global Chicken Challenge helped an orphanage in Africa to move toward self-sufficiency.

Oh, by the way, they also compete; and AU SIFE has placed nationally in competitions.

Students participate through four divisions at AU:

Global Impact (economic development in countries other than the United States)
Entrepreneurial Impact (helping start and grow successful businesses in our community)
Community Impact (working on educational projects that help prepare people to succeed in our economy)
Environmental Impact (helping build a sustainable and prosperous economy).
