Why do you choose to teach/work at Anderson University?
Anderson University was home for five years, and as a student, I had a wonderful experience with the FSB faculty. I am honored to be able to share in the continuation of their desire for education and students. It is so encouraging to watch others have a true passion as they serve their students and one another. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of a community of individuals who truly desire to serve in a Christ like manner.
What is something that you have been part of at AU that brings you joy?
Aside from my college career at AU, I am the coach of the cheerleading squad. I love being a part of this group of women’s lives and sharing in their passion for the sport (and yes, I called it a sport). Being the coach of this squad is what kept me in Indiana and it has been a true blessing to be able to serve in this role.
What do you like to do for fun?
My favorite way to spend my time with people, but I also enjoy reading, writing, cooking, traveling, and conversations over coffee. Oh, and cheerleading.
What is one thing that makes you unique?
I’ve learned to never say never. When applying for colleges, I said I would never come to AU. I later said I would never go to graduate school at AU. I now have two degrees, work and coach at AU. Lesson learned. And I also love the Chicago Bears.
