Five Anderson University business students, Jonah McDonough, Peter Odren, Perry Childs, JinAyla Sexton, and Chad Schubert recently participated in the second annual I-69 Collegiate Innovation Challenge at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana. They joined students from Ball State University, Huntington University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Taylor University.
Anderson University and the city of Anderson recently welcomed a visit from a delegation from Anderson Indiana's sister city of Yuhang District, Hangzhou, in China. The visit was in response to the mayor’s trade mission to the Chinese cities of Shanghai, Ningbo and Hangzhou in November 2006.
The Anderson University Falls School of Business (FSB) recently announced that students will have the opportunity to invest $100,000 as part of a senior level investments class. The Raven Fund will allow students to learn how to manage an investment fund through a real-world experience. Each semester, a senior-level class of about 10 students will take control of the fund, deciding how to invest the money.
The Anderson University Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team recently announced five companies that SIFE Consulting & Entrepreneurship will be assisting throughout the upcoming academic year. This is the fourth year for SIFE Consulting, a program that is being funding through a partnership with the Flagship Enterprise Center.
