ALUMNI OUTCOMES

Andrew Rosenberg

Communications Analyst, Mercer Human Resource Consulting
Bachelor of Arts, Management major

The Falls School of Business provided me with not just a classroom education, but a comprehensive hands-on business education that helped me get exactly the job I wanted after graduating and prepared me for success. The experiences and lessons that I took away from the Anderson Media Group (AMG) and Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) have allowed me to seamlessly enter the consulting industry with Mercer Human Resource Consulting, the largest human resource consulting firm in the world. I went to a client meeting during my second week of work, and it didn't occur to me to be nervous, because I'd already been working with other companies for the past few years in SIFE. My experience is just one example among many of the unrivaled commitment the FSB professors have to helping their students succeed in and out of the classroom.

For the Record

The Falls School of Business (FSB) is fully accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs—the only Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) school in Indiana and one of the few Christian colleges nationwide to hold that accreditation. FSB has a high-quality MBA program, with 200 students enrolled in the Anderson and Indianapolis areas. The program enhances opportunities for undergraduate students by providing a source of job contacts, internship possibilities and classroom speakers. FSB also has the only Doctor of Business Administration degree program in the CCCU. The program is aimed at preparing individuals to teach in a Christian university setting.
  • Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) teams hone their presentation and project management skills. AU teams have won regional competitions regularly and have consistently placed strongly in national competitions
  • The school recently moved to a newly acquired building and is finishing a renovation project that includes "smart classrooms"—rooms that are equipped with the most up-to-date educational technology.
  • The Falls School of Business has one of the largest number of qualified faculty among small, Christian universities. There are 19 full-time faculty members. Fourteen hold doctoral degrees, six hold professional certifications and all have practical business experience.
  • Created by a grant from the Lilly Foundation, INvision AU is a collaborative program that creates job and internship opportunities for AU students.
  • Business Reform named the Falls School of Business the "Dean's Choice" among business schools with a biblical foundation
  • U.S. News & World Report rated Anderson University as a top-tier among universities in the Midwest offering master's level degree programs.

Unique Opportunities

Tri-S (Study, Serve, Share) is a university-sponsored program that sends students around the world in service and learning experiences. Business students are encouraged to make use of this program. Given the program's diversity, a student could be on a different continent each year.
