1. Will courses I have previously taken count?

All requirements for the Post-MBA Certificate must be completed within a four year window. If you received your MBA degree from Anderson University, the corresponding courses you have previously taken will count towards the certificate as long as all of the requirements are satisfied within a four year period. If you earned your MBA degree from another school, only three credit hours of transfer will be applied towards the certificate as long as all of the requirements are satisfied within a four year period.

2. How much does it cost?

The tuition is based on the current cost per credit hour of the MBA program.

3. How many courses will I have to take to get the certificate?

12-13 credit hours (5-6 courses), depending on the track you enroll in. The “Post-MBA Info Sheet” provides specific information regarding the credit hours required for each course.

4. When are the classes offered?

Classes are evening courses that are offered in the fall, spring, and summer, though each course will not be offered in every semester. Some will be offered as an online format.

5. Where will the classes be offered?

Most classes are offered at all MBA learning sites; however, there are a limited number of classes that will only be available at the Anderson and/or Fishers facilities.

6. How do I register for the program?

Simply fill out and mail the application form, professional resume, official transcript (an official transcript is not required if you obtained your MBA or similar graduate-level degree from Anderson University), and application fee to begin the registration process. Hardcopies of the application form are available through the MBA Office and the electronic version is available online at www.anderson.edu/mba.

7. By when do I have to register?

Space in most classes is limited and enrollment is done on a "first-come-first served" basis, therefore you should make your interest known as soon as possible.

8. What will I receive once I have completed the program?

Once you have completed the program, you will be awarded with a certificate for the track you successfully completed. Completed courses and grades received for the courses will appear on your official Anderson University transcript.

9. How long will it take to complete?

1-2 years, depending on prior coursework, course availability, and your desired course load.

10. Who will teach the courses?

The majority of courses are taught by fulltime faculty from the Falls School of Business.

Individuals, like yourself, pursuing one of the various certificates as well as graduate students seeking their MBA degree.

12. What are the benefits of obtaining the certificate?

This certificate allows professionals, such as yourself, to continue graduate-level studies and enhance your knowledge without pursuing an additional degree. You will gain additional education to make you more marketable and competitive in the business world. You will also add value to your employer by being a better employee because of the insight and skills that you acquire with this continued education.

Individuals may pursue and obtain multiple certificates (one in each of the eight tracks).

Since currency and relevancy are important to the validity of the certificate, all requirements must be satisfied within a four (4) year period.
