Marketing includes business administration courses to provide understanding of general business operation, preparation for careers in administration in business and other organizations, and preparation for graduate study. Majors choose a concentration in marketing strategy and tactics, music business, eBusiness, marketing communication, or global marketing.

Marketing Major (56-59 hours)
Required of all marketing majors:

    Prerequisite of MATH 1300, 1400, 2010
    37-hour Business CORE
    BSNS 3220, 4110, 4330, 4440

Complete one of the four following concentrations:

    Marketing Strategy and Tactics
    BSNS 3210, 3510, 3550

    eBusiness
    BSNS 3400, 4400
    3 hours from BSNS 3510, 3550, 4240**, 4310, 4800

    Integrated Marketing Communications
    BSNS 3550, 4550
    3 hours from BSNS 3210, 3400, 4240**, 4400, 4800; COMM 3140, 3240

    Global Marketing
    BSNS 3120, 4250, and 3 hours from BSNS 4120 or INED 3500*
    or IBI Program

    Music Business
    5 hours from MUBS 2010, 2020, 4800
    4 hours from MUBS 3100, 3210, 3310, 3350, 3410

*Specific trip must have the approval of the Dean of the Falls School of Business
**When taken to fulfill a requirement for a major or minor, BSNS 4240 must have the prior approval of the student's advisor.
