| Responsibilities : |
Anderson University Dining Services is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Cook. Responsibilities include assisting with portioning and preparing all hot items for meal and/or a catered event, preparing and storing of leftover meals, maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary work area, and recording all production information on menus. |
| Qualifications: |
Qualifed candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one to two years in food service and / or the completion of a culinary program and internship. Sanitation certification will be preferred. Must be a team player and display a willingness to accomplish any task to assure success. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to employees, dining room staff, and guests. Must be able to read and follow written instructions. Must be able to stand and exert well paced mobility for periods up to four hours in length. Must be able to write legibly and complete basic math equations. Must be able to operate meat slicers and other kitchen equipment. Work schedule may vary, weekend hours required.
