| Responsibilities: | Anderson University seeks a candidate for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in Spanish beginning August 2013. |
| Qualifications: | Minimum qualifications include at least an M.A. in Spanish, native or near-native fluency in Spanish, experience teaching beginning and intermediate level college Spanish courses, and fluency in English.
Preference will be given to candidates who are also strong generalists and/or who have an interest and background in Spanish for the Professions (health care, social work, law enforcement, education,ministry, etc.). Candidates able to teach another modern foreign language besides Spanish are welcomed. The teaching load is 12 hours per semester, participation in departmental activities and service on university committees.
Anderson University is a comprehensive institution with a strong liberal arts tradition. The department of Modern Foreign Languages offers majors and minors in French and Spanish.
