Responsibilities : Full-time faculty appointment at Anderson University beginning in August, 2008. This position involves teaching 4-6 credits per semester, as well as serving as a clinical instructor for the CAATE-accredited athletic training education program. The candidate will also have a dual appointment with athletic department that will most likely involve a fall and a spring sport assignment. The candidate will work closely alongside the CAATE program director and the director of sports medicine in the daily functions of the program and the athletic training facility on campus. Salary is competitive, and Anderson University offers a supportive and dynamic working environment.
Qualifications: BOC certified for at least 1 year, Indiana licensure (or eligible), Master’s degree in athletic training or a related field, certified as an instructor in Emergency Response through the American Red Cross; previous college teaching experience is desirable. A positive attitude and the desire to work in a “team” atmosphere are essential for this position.
