Job Title: Soccer Team Ballrunner 2008-2009

Description: All home games for Men’s and Women’s Soccer. Paid for 2.5 hours per game. Per NCAA we are in need of 4 persons for each game to run balls for the game. Ballrunners will stay on 1 quarter of the playing field and help keep the ball in play. Qualifications: dependable, punctual. Like sports. 2008 Season: Aug. 29 through Nov. 1st.

Job Title: Dining Services Worker 2008-09

$6.95/hour

Positions vary: Cashiers Grill Cook Stocking Dishwasher Asst. Catering

Description: Answer questions of customers in a pleasant manner. Operate cash registers and make change as necessary. Prepare items on grill. Replenish supplies and stock. Assist with maintaining cleanliness of dining area. Students need to be cross trained in each area. Qualifications: Customer service oriented. Ability to accurately count money and make change. Basic knowledge of food preparation and service. Must be 18 years or older.

Job Title: Lock Up 2008-09

Description: Students go around to different buildings locking doors. Lockup 1 - works from 9:00pm - 1:00am: This person walks the campus and locks the outside doors to the buidings. Two nights of training need to be accomplished before beginning the job. This person is also to watch campus for suspicious activity and backup if officer needs assistance with doors, etc. Open shifts now are Tuesday and Sunday nights. Lockup 2 - works Midnight - 2:00am: This person walks the campus and double checks the doors locked by Lockup 1 position. This person might also help officer with other activities. One night of training needed before beginning job. Open shifts now are Tuesday, Saturday. Qualifications: Able to work late hours and willing to work alone to close/lock buildings at the end of the night. Good interpersonal skills; attention to follow instructions. Must be dependable and punctual. Be a positive representative of Anderson University. Uniform shirt will be provided. Must wear khaki or black pants and dark shoes, no flip flops.

Description: 8 – 10 hours per week. Dorm Security - works 11pm - 1:30am (2:30am on Fri and Sat): This person walks campus to make sure all non-residents of the dorms are out of the dorms and locks the doors to those residence halls. One night of training needed before beginning job. Provide security around campus. Qualifications: Good interpersonal skills; attention to follow instructions. Must be dependable and punctual. Description: Hours varied Security for concerts and special events on campus. Assist with parking control and direction for special events at Reardon Auditorium and other campus locations. Job Title: Asst. Sales Clerk 2008-09

Description: Up to 15 hours during academic year. Responsible for operating cash register accurately. Greet customers, monitor stock, general cleaning, may involve some stockroom work. Qualifications: Training will be provided. clerk must be friendly and willing to work with customers. Retail experience is helpful, but not required. For 2008-09 workers will need to train and begin work before classes begin.
