Job Title: Admissions Intern For Summer 2012
Description: Approx. 30-40 hours per week for summer of 2012. Day and some evening hours required. Give tours of campus to prospective students and families at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. when visitors are on campus, and possibly hosting them for lunch. Update spreadsheets for admissions counselors, at least 10 hours/week of phone/e-mail/facebook contact with high school students, airport runs for prospective students/families, organizing materials, and other projects as assigned. Qualifications: Need good Customer service skills, enthusiastic and committed to AU; Sophomore and older; Willing to meet new people. Communicate knowledge of Anderson University’s culture and understanding of academic majors. Must be certified to drive an AU vehicle (this can be completed after the hiring process). Initiate and sustain conversation with prospective students and/or their families. Involvement in campus activities and minimum of 1 year in residence halls. Excellent organizational skills; able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis. Self-motivated and strong people skills.

Job Title: Ambassador - Tour Guide
Description: 5-10 hrs/week. Males & Females needed to give campus tours to prospective students & their families. Campus tours for Discovery Days are given M/W/F at 10 a.m. Qualifications: Must live in the dorms on campus. Need good Customer service skills, enthusiastic and committed to AU; willing to meet new people. Communicate knowledge of Anderson University’s culture and understanding of academic majors. Initiate and sustain conversation with prospective students and/or their families. Involvement in campus activities.

Job Title: Discovery Day Team
Description: Represent the University to prospective students; assist with visit day program. This team spends the morning with visiting students as we tour campus and get a feel for what it means to be a student at AU. We spend time in a classroom, in chapel, at the Wellness Center, in the dorms, and at the Corner Pocket, then eat lunch together. Contribute as part of student panel with visiting prospective students; communicate knowledge of Anderson University’s culture and understanding of academic majors; Initiate and sustain conversation with prospective students and/or their families; prepare and mail post visit communication. Qualifications: Upperclassmen with leadership experience preferred. Extensive campus leadership experience (i.e. SGA,CAB,RA, clubs, athletics, etc.) Strong people skills. Available 9 a.m. to 12 Noon or 1 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
