Job Title:
Asst. Lighting Manager 2008-09
Description: 5 + hours per week. Person will learn all aspects of technical stage and theatre lighting. Responsible for set-up, tear-down, and operation of lighting system for each event; general maintenance and cleaning of lighting system and instruments (includes keeping all color media organized and updated, as well as keeping track of any equipment that is taken outside of the Auditorium). Must attend a weekly Key Staff meeting. Assist the Technical Director and other managers when needed. Responsible for building keys assigned to them. Required to keep accurate record of time worked by use of timecards and the event sheets located in the Student Office. Qualifications: Willingness to be trained in: lighting design, operation and maintenance of lighting equipment, other tasks for facilitating events in Reardon and other locations around campus. Physical capability to perform responsibilities listed. Ability to maintain a professional attitude with clients, staff, and crew members. Must be punctual for all work shifts and meetings. Description: 5 + hours per week. Person will learn all aspects of technical stage and auditorium sound. Responsible for set-up and tear-down of all audio equipment (includes any microphones, speakers, intercom, stands, and any required accompanying cables and accessories). Responsible for oversight of maintenance and cleaning of all audio equipment in coordination with the Tech Director (includes keeping regularly updated inventory and keeping track of any equipment which is taken outside of the Auditorium). Assist the Technical Director and other managers when needed. Responsible for the building keys assigned to them. Required to keep accurate record of time worked by use of timecards and the event sheets located in the Student Office. Qualifications: Some experience with audio setup and mixing required. Willingness to be trained in other areas of responsibility. Physical capability to perform responsibilities. Ability to maintain a professional attitude with clients, staff, and crew members. Job Title: Student Visual Designer 2008-09 and possibly Summer
Description: 5 15 hours per week. All SRC positions are considered primarily an academic experience. Student Visual Designers will gain experience in visual communications, design and testing of software, and documentation. SRC generally hires students to complete project work. As project needs vary, so will employment. Students will provide visual design, work with programmers to implement visual design, recommend improvements, and provide support as necessary. An important aspect is effectively communicating vidual design problems, visual design advantages and implementation issues to multiple supervisory chains. Qualifications: Ideally applicants will pursue a computer complementary major or minor and have completed an appropriate class such as: CPSC 1200, or ARTS 4114. Some students will participate in projects for credit and experience only. Students may be asked to enroll in academic credit such as CPSC 3800. GPA Preferred: 3.0 acceptable, 3.5 preferred.

Cross Country Team Statistician

Description: The position requires knowledge and prior experience with maintaining stats for cross country or track. Student will keep computerized statistics for all participants, using standardized techniques for recording play by play stats on the sideline. The position requires a student to be available to attend assigned sporting events during evening and weekend hours and that the position may require travel to away games. Qualifications: Work must be accurate and dependable; basic computer skills. Knowledge of sport and experience keeping stats required. Cross Country: Help with stats at all meets and at two practices per week for a total of 15 hrs per week. Need someone who is good with a watch and numbers.

Job Title: Student Senior Analyst 2008-09
Description: 10 15 hours per week. Student will gain valuable experience in managing projects and teams. Students(s) will be selected with the intention that they are able and willing to take on a Student Lead Analyst position or similar roll of greater responsibility in the future. Serve as a role model to the team both during and outside of work hours. Represent projects or role responsibilities as assigned and appropriate within the SRC team. Represent the SRC team as asked to the project management team, including university and outside clients. Provide individual instruction and supervision. Serve as a senior member of the technical staff and a junior member of the mgmt. staff. Qualifications: Student should minimally have completed CPSC 2100 and another programming class beyond CPSC 1500. Interested students who have completed additional coursework, but not had a comparable programming internship will also be considered. Students enroll in academic credit such as CPSC 3800 may receive some preference. Preferred Soph. or Jr. class member with a GPA of 3.4. Preferred GPA of 3.6
