The Leadership Academy of Madison County Alumni Association hosted "Educational Pipeline: A Conversation" Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the Madison Park Church of God in Anderson.

Moderator Keith Trent, Vice President and Chief Foundation Officer for Community Hospital Anderson, led speakers Mary Lee Ewald, Director of the CAPE (Community Alliances to Promote Education) Initiative of Madison County and Tom Snyder, President of Ivy Tech Community Colleges of Indiana, in a community dialogue about education and building a 21st century workforce for Madison County and Indiana.

Honored guests included Anderson Mayor-Elect Kris Ockomon, Superintendent Mickella Lowe of Anderson Community Schools, Superintendent Thomas Austin of Elwood Community Schools, Chancellor Dr. Gail Chesterfield of Ivy Tech East Central Region, and Dean George Hughes of Ivy Tech Anderson.
