Dr. Frank Campbell

Dr. Frank Campbell is a graduate of Butler University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Education, as well as, a commission of 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Air Force. After graduation from Butler, he served as 1st Lt. in the U.S. Air Force for two years. Dr. Campbell then continued his education at IU Medical School where he received his Medical Degree in 1965.
Dr. Campbell worked in his private medical practice, along with Dr. Alvin Bridges and Dr. John Woodall from 1966 to 1996. He then spent the time from 1996 to 2007 taking care of his aging father. In 2007, Dr. Campbell returned to practice at the Madison County Community Health Center where he continues to work and serve as Medical Director. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Madison County Health Center from 2002 to 2007.
Dr. Campbell held privileges at both Saint John’s Health Center and Community Health Network Hospitals from 1966 to 1996, serving as Chief of Staff at Community Hospital, Anderson, in 1980.
Dr. Campbell is a member of the Allen Chapel AME Church where he serves on the Board of Stewarts, teaches an Adult Sunday School Class, and an Adult Bible class. He also serves on the Saint John’s Health System’s Foundation Board.
Dr. Campbell has been married for 57 years, has 3 children, 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He enjoys golf and gardening.
