Orientation
Orientation can be scary for new students and for their families. While we can’t prepare you for everything, we will try to make the transition as easy as possible. When you arrive to move in your student, you won’t be alone. Students, faculty, and staff from AU’s Department of Student Life flood the parking lots and dorms to help unload cars and move in the freshmen!
During orientation, you will have some seminars you can choose to attend. This opportunity puts you in contact with other parents. You can commiserate, ask questions, and hear advice from veteran college parents.
