Nature and location of complaint: Intimidation/Stalking, University Blvd/Nursery Road

Description: University police responded to a radio call from an off-duty security officer that was witnessing a subject driving recklessly on a motorcycle.  The rider then got off his bike and approached the officer in his car.  University police located and stopped the rider near campus.  Pending possible charges.

Nature and location of complaint: Traffic Stop, E. 8th Street/Park Avenue

Description: University police stopped a vehicle for disregarding the stop sign at East 5th Street / College Drive.  The driver was cited into Anderson City Court for the offense..

Nature and location of complaint: Theft from motor vehicle, York Seminary Housing

Description: University police received another report of entry to an auto parked in the York Seminary Housing lot   The victim found the car had been rifled through the same way as the incident last week..

Nature and location of complaint: Accident Hit-Skip, Maplewood Cemetery

Description: University police responded to a call of an unattended vehicle that was found next to several damaged headstones in the Maplewood Cemetery.  The vehicle struck six headstones and the driver fled the scene.  University police conducted an investiigation and identified the driver.  The driver was arrested for leaving the scene of a property damage crash with criminal charges filed in Anderson City Court.

Nature and location of complaint: Mischief, Private Property; Hartung Hall

Description: While on foot patrol of the valley area, an oficer noticed that soap had been put into Helios and large mounds of bubbles were flowing over the sides.  Officer then shut off water flow to Helios.

Description: University police stopped a vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit (43/25).  The driver was cited into Anderson City Court for the offense.

Description: University police responded to a medical call involving a CIY attendee with a sprained ankle.  The student was treated and released.

Nature and location of complaint: Traffic Stop, E. 5th Street / Nursery Road

Description: University police stopped a vehicle operating without a license plate.  The driver was cited into Anderson City Court for operating with an expired driver's license and the vehicle was towed for not being registered.

Nature and location of complaint: Trouble with Juveniles, 6th & Walnut

Description: Two youths with the CIY convention were approached by four unknown males.  The suspects asked if the youths were a particular name and were told no.  The four suspects left the area.  Two of the suspects were located nearby.  One was incarcerated for an outstanding arrest warrant and the second was transported home for being a runaway.

Description: University police responded to a medical call involving a CIY attendee that had a possible concussion.  The police officer / EMT assessed the subject and recommended that he be checked at St. Vincent Hospital for a possible concussion.

Nature and location of complaint: Mischief, Church, 2600 Block E. 5th Street - East Side Church of God

Description: While on patrol, Anderson Police Department dispatched units to East Side Church of God reference possible damage being done to building.  Upon arrival AU officer found two broken windows.
