No matter how long you've been gone, you're welcome back
Ten years! It’s hard to believe but it is true. I recently received an invitation in the mail to my 10-year reunion at Anderson University. Ten years. Are you kidding me? Where has the time gone?
So much has changed over the last 10 years. I can’t even begin to list all of the events and opportunities that I have enjoyed. There was my first job, my wedding, a move to full-time ministry, travel overseas, the birth of two wonderful boys, as well as many other blessings. Fortunately, the good has greatly outweighed the bad. The last 10 years have been great, and I have no reason to complain.
While new experiences, jobs, friends, and family have naturally stolen my time and attention, I can’t help but look back at those memorable years I spent at Anderson University. From the classes to the late nights in the dorm to the Tri-S trips to the turkey cutlet (which I never liked) to the great friends I made, I know for certain that my appreciation for Anderson University will always remain. Those years can’t be replaced. They were a few of the best I have ever had.
I will be attending Homecoming and my 10-year reunion at Anderson University this fall. I’d love to see you there. Whether you have been away for one year, 10 years, or 40 years, I’d love to have you join me for this great weekend. Contact the university or check out the Web site at www.anderson.edu for more information.
