Academics

The Anderson University School of Education prepares undergraduate students for licensing in both elementary and secondary education. Dual-licensing options are available in special education, English as a new language, and early childhood education (Preschool-Grade 3). Undergraduate programs are available for students interested in teaching middle school math or language arts, or licensing for all-grades in music, visual arts, or physical education.

In addition, the School of Education offers graduate programs leading to a Master of Education degree in Leadership and Administration or Curriculum and Instruction. The school also offers the Teach for Indiana Program (TIP) for individuals who wish to transition to teaching.

The School of Education offers a highly regarded student teaching program, including an innovative year-long program with a 100% placement rate for participating students.
