City of Anderson City Ordinance 2008
The City of Anderson will once again become Indiana's leading CC! City of Character as Mayor Kris Ockomon, presents a City Ordinance before City Council October 9th, 2008, in honor of 10 years of CC! & Character Education in Madison County, an ordinance recognizing Anderson as a CHARACTER COUNTS! CC! 10 Year Celebration, Block Party & City of Anderson Bridge Dedication
Hold the date, October 11th, 12 Noon-2 pm, as both Anderson Community Schools, and the City of Anderson are both on board to help "Cross the Bridge" 10 years later, march in a City-wide parade, and end up dedicating the new Edgewater Park Bridge in honor of an outstanding Andersonian & CC! of MC! TRRFCC! news! We hope to make it a County-wide Celebration with all County school districts, Fire, Police, Sheriffs, and emergency personnel all a part of a mass parade. City of Anderson CC! Town Hall Meeting
Anderson Community Schools, Center for CHARACTER Development, and CC! of Madison County will join the City of Anderson for a "Town Hall Meeting" featuring comedian/character educator Dr. Mike Thomson, Thursday October 16th...time tbd. This event is free to the public, as a reception will precede the event to highlite the Class of 2008 "Character-In- Motion" Banners now on display in City Hall, and to learn more about Character-based programs throughout Anderson and Madison County. CCD Homecoming Concert: Sandi & Friends, A Celebration of Character!
Hold the date, October 19th, 2008 as the Sandi & Friends Benefit Concert is rescheduled to be an exciting closing for the 2008 Anderson University Homecoming Celebration. We hope that with the Artists joining Sandi including, Comedienne Anita Renfroe, Speaker & Humorist Patsy Clairmont, Gospel Artist Nicole C. Mullen, and a few other surprises within the evening-it will be a wonderful nite of story, song, and laughter sure to bring an exclamation mark on our CC! 10 Year Celebration Week of events.
