ENL Application

The English as a New Language Professional Development Academy will focus on two primary objectives:

ENL Licensure for Indiana teachers

Courses offered at Masters Level – can be used towards M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction.
Courses offered at Undergraduate Level for teacher candidates wishing to add ENL certification.
Certification opportunity for licensed Indiana teachers who wish to add ENL.

Professional Development for teachers in schools.

Professional Development for those working with English language learners (content/classroom teachers, ENL teachers, paraprofessionals, volunteers, service organizations).

The English as a New Language Professional Development Academy has been established with a National Professional Development Grant through the United States Department of Education, administered by the Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA).
